Want To Talk Some Baseball?

Our pal Jason from Heartland Pinstripes is hosting a live chat which he quite appropriately calls a Heartland Digital Living Room. There should be some good banter going on at his place when the game fires up. Grab a six pack and stop by.

Live Chat Reminder

Hey fans! Love the Yankees and are looking for a good way to follow along with the game during the work day? Well come on over to Fack Youk at 1:00 and take part in our live chat! We'll be pulling in the Twitter feeds from some the local beat reporters and adding our own snarky commentary and the occasional screen grab as well.

Stop by and destroy your productivity at work!

Game 82 Live Chat

Welcome to the chat. When you make your first comment it might take a moment to show up since we have to approve them and it doesn't always refresh instantly. Hang in there, we'll let you in. If you are having problems, my email is on the side of the site.

Game Chat Reminder

Just a quick reminder that we will be chatting live from the internets during the game today. It's the Monday after a holiday weekend, do you really feel like getting things done? Of course not, you've got the rest of the week for that.

We are going to use Cover It Live, which enables us to import the Twitter feeds of the beat writers who are too cool to actually chat with us and upload pictures among other cool stuff. Should be fun. Stop back at 1:00. It will be 10 times more entertaining than Kim Jones' chat, I promise.

Juuuuuust Kidding!

A well oiled machine, that Yankee PR department!

The good news: More Mike Francesa!!!!

Probability of a Live Chat declining by the moment.

This sucks.

4:00 First Pitch (Live Chat Reminder)

That's what the tell me on Twitter, anyway.

Come by around that time for some good old fashioned newfangled live chattery.

Keep In Mind Kurt Suzuki Is Right Handed

This strikeout in the top of the tenth was the only out Damaso Marte recorded in yesterday's game, but it was a thing of beauty. If you participated in our Live Chat for Game 15, you have already seen this image, but for those who did not...

More embarassing: Suzuki striking out via a 360 and landing on his ass, or the empty seats behind him? Close call.

Can we see another angle?

Perfect. I think I'm going to go with the strikeout.

Other things you may have missed in the Live Chat: Hilarious stories about Freddy Sez, backed up with photographic evidence, unflattering nicknames for Damaso Marte, updates on every Yankee's marital status, how to listen to the game without buying the MLB.com radio package, and in-depth discussions of why and why not to purchase a quesadilla maker. You should really stop by next time.

Game 15: Live Chat

Alright folks, we are going to try this Live Chatting business again. It's a 1:00 start today, matching up the highest paid pitcher in the history of baseball against some dude from Oakland with 13 career innings pitched. But as we all know, nothing in baseball is a forgone conclusion.

In honor of what projects to be our first Live Chat, and the fact that it's another afternoon getaway game, here is a live version of Key To The Highway by none other than Mr. Eric Clapton:
I got the key to the highway,
Billed out and bound to go.
I'm gonna leave here running,
Walking is most too slow.

I'm going back to the border
Woman, where I'm better known.
You know you haven't done nothing,
Drove a good man away from home.

Oh, when the moon peeks over the mountains
I'll be on my way.
I'm gonna roam this old highway
Until the break of day.

Yankees vs. TB 4/15 (Live Chat)

Hate the Rays?

So do we! Do you want to talk about it?

We are debuting a new live chat feature, so stop by around 4PM and see if it actually works.

[ Ed. note: Guess what...it didn't work too well, so please just leave comments on the game in the post below for now. In related news: Coming Soon to Fack Youk, Live Chatting!]
