I'm sorry the game did suck but at least the Yanks got shut down by two of the best pitchers in baseball as opposed to some of the random pitchers that get turned into Cy Young against them. The offense will wake up tonight against the 1-7 guy.
The occasional "tip your cap" games are inevitable but two back-to-back is tough to stomach. I like watching King Felix pitch and everything, but watching a starter go the distance for the second night in a row in a game that wasn't even close was pretty frustrating.
The fact that these have been home games makes it a little tougher to watch. Rowland-Smith for the M's has a 6.18 ERA, let's hope the offense takes advantage of that.
How else do you expect him to feel? For the cost of those premium seats, you want to see your team play a good one.
ReplyDeleteI picked the picture because it pretty much summed up how every Yankee fan felt at that point, regardless of where they were watching the game from.
ReplyDeleteAfter tonight he'll probably get the rest of that haircut finished...wake me up when the offense wakes up...yawn...
