Why Doesn't My Job Having Spring Training In Florida?

Working life sucks. No summer vacations, no snow days (not since I've been in NYC, anyway), no recess, gym class, snack time or carpet-square-naps. Youth is wasted on the young.

I was browsing through the LIFE Photo Archive on Google Images and turned up a few good old school Yankees Spring Training pictures from when they were still in St. Petersburg and Ft. Lauderdale. Here are a few for now. We've still got 49 days left until opening day so I don't want to blow my whole stash.
